Yoga is a great way to keep the body healthy and strong, as well as help with emotional stability. Yoga therapy can heal from addiction in many ways:
-Physical – yoga has been shown to decrease cortisol levels which are related to stress
-Mental – yoga helps us become more mindful by concentrating on our breath or a specific part of our body. This practice helps to elevate levels of concentration and focus.
-Spiritual – yoga is more than a physical practice, it helps us stay connected with our inner self.
