Staying Connect in Treatment
We are committed to supporting our clients’ healing process while keeping them connected with their loved ones. To help maintain a structured and compassionate environment, here’s how our call schedule works:
Call Schedule
• Tranquility Woods Side: Calls take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• River Glen Side: Calls take place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Call Signup Details
• Sign-Up Sheets: Each home has a sign-up sheet divided into 15-minute intervals for call scheduling.
• Eligibility: Clients are eligible for calls after 72 hours in care, ensuring they have time to process detoxification and acclimate to treatment.
• Time Slots: The earliest call sign-up time is 4:00 PM, and the latest is 9:30 PM.
This structured system is designed to create a balance between nurturing their recovery process and maintaining meaningful connections with loved ones.
At Tranquility Woods, we value the important role families play in the recovery process, which is why we offer weekly private family therapy sessions as part of our treatment program. These sessions provide a space for healing, open communication, and strengthening relationships. While included in our program, participation is optional and based on the client’s preferences.
How It Works:
1.Scheduling: Family therapy sessions are held Monday through Friday, offering flexibility to accommodate different schedules.
2.Client Consent: For a family member or loved one to participate, the client must sign a Release of Information. This legal step allows us to communicate with the chosen individual(s) and involve them in treatment. Clients work with our administrative staff and their assigned counselors to set up releases of information.
3.Format: Sessions can be conducted either virtually or in-person, based on what works best for the family and client each week.
4.Coordination: Once the release is signed, our team will reach out to the family to schedule the session at a mutually convenient time.
These sessions are designed to address family dynamics, foster understanding, and build a supportive network that continues beyond treatment.
Family Participation
Children are welcome to attend these private family sessions, allowing the whole family to engage in the healing process. However, please note that Sunday family visitation is restricted to adults 18 years and older.
If you have questions or need assistance setting up a session, our team is here to guide you through the process!
