Edwin Hernandez-Martinez, LCSW-C, serves as a dedicated Residential Therapist at Tranquility Woods in Pasadena, Maryland, where he works closely with individuals seeking healing and personal growth. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Edwin has cultivated a rich background across a variety of therapeutic settings. His experience spans work with veterans, individuals in inpatient programs for eating disorders, and community-based mental health services, equipping him with a deep understanding of diverse mental health needs.
Edwin implements a trauma-informed approach, as well as mindfulness-based techniques. He has advanced his skills through a fellowship at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (ICP+P), and has implemented a relational tradition into his work in addition to CBT, DBT, and ACT models.
