
Michelle McCoy
Michelle McCoy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and experienced behavioral health leader with over fifteen years of experience providing clinical supervision, crisis intervention, and program development across a variety of treatment settings. She is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore life’s challenges. She works collaboratively with clients—honoring them as the experts of their own lives—while helping them build insight, interrupt unhelpful patterns, and uncover inner strength. She is licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Delaware and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group therapy.
With more than fifteen years of experience, Michelle specializes in supporting young adults, adults, and couples navigating trauma, identity exploration, relationship concerns, addiction, anxiety, and depression. In addition to her clinical work, she is an accomplished leader and clinical supervisor, guiding therapists-in-training and experienced clinicians alike. She is passionate about mentoring emerging clinicians and strengthening the behavioral health workforce. Her work focuses on evidence-based care, integrated mental health and substance use treatment, and developing systems that improve access, quality, and continuity of care for individuals and families.
Throughout her career, Michelle has held leadership roles where she supervised clinicians, developed treatment programming, and implemented quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Her leadership roles reflect her commitment to quality care, operational excellence, and innovative programming in behavioral health.
Michelle holds master’s degrees in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She is a board-approved supervisor in Maryland and Virginia. Whether in therapy or in leadership, her mission is to foster growth, healing, and resilience in every person and organization she serves.
